Education
I earned an Interdisciplinary PhD in Business, Sociology, Psychology and Semiotics and an MA and Honors BA in History and Political Science. In addition, I have a Teaching Diploma. I have taught at various universities and presented papers at Harvard University, the American Sociological Association, the American Anthropological Association, and various Educational Department. I have tutored junior and high school students from China and Korea who now attend the University of Chicago business school and numerous other top American universities.
Experience
I believe teaching is a noble calling. My love of teaching is the reason I chose to acquire a PhD and become a professor. A teacher has the privilege to serve students by providing leadership that guides and encourages them to develop critical thinking and analytic skills, learn various schools of thought, and interpret the world around them and their place in it. Taught ESL, reading, writing and mathematics for 10 years as a tutor. I enjoy tutoring students and helping them develop the skills and abilities to excel in the academic world. As a former journalist, I am published with the American Bar Association, California Lawyer, and various marquee magazines that have global circulation.
