Education
I earned my undergraduate degree in economics with a focus on mathematical economics and statistics from Gujarat University. I then went on to earn a graduate degree from the same university in economics with an emphasis on research methods and development economics. I earned a second graduate degree in public policy with an emphasis on social policy and government documentation and public management from the University of Calgary.
Experience
I tutor high school, undergraduate, and graduate-level students in a variety of subject areas primarily in the fields of social sciences, economics, and writing. This includes AP courses in those fields. I am an excellent communicator, facilitator, and mentor with experience advising students in a wide variety of subject areas. I have extensive experience in microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistical methods, research methods, social sciences, social policy, and public policy analysis. Recently, I have been volunteering with an organization that works for the betterment of immigrant women.

Hobbies
Dance (Classical Indian), Helping immigrant women, volunteering, mentoring. Volunteering with various non profits overtime has made me more sensible to issues around women and youth. Most of the times, I have seen women com around stronger and more confident after building their capacities. In all these organizations, clients have felt found a friend and a mentor in me, who looks through their problems, maintains their confidentiality and helps them overcome barriers in terms of limited knowledge. I would thrive to be the same for everyone who chooses to work with me.
