I am currently a student in my first year of massage therapy at Mount Royal. I have taken two years of nursing previous to this as well.
Experience
In nursing I took a few interpersonal communications classes, so I have knowledge of different communication styles and how they can be approached. I also took a class last summer, Nurse as Educator, where I learned skills like assessing learning styles and readiness to learn, creating teaching plans, and adjusting the teaching plans to meet the individual learner’s needs. I have limited formal experience tutoring, but find myself in the position often where my classmates are asking me for help and I do a good job where I can to explain what we are learning about in a way that they can understand it.
Availability
Weekends at any time, Monday after 6PM

Up to 15 minutes away for no additional charge, Up to 30 minutes away for a flat fee
Hobbies
Besides being busy with school, I enjoy out door activities and going to the gym. I enjoy reading all kinds of things from horror to comedy to romance. I can usually find something in common to chat about with someone to get comfortable before we just jump into the teaching.
